I love getting new season makeup inspiration direct from the Catwalks at the end of the proceeding season. I really love the darker shades that normally arrive with autumn and this season will not dissapoint, in addition there is the extra dash of sparkle that accomopanies the festive season. Perfection. In the next week or two I'll be featuring some of my favourite looks direct from the catwalks and some new season products that you can use to get the look. First up, Jewel Toned Eyes.
This Screams Autumn/Winter and Glamour, Glamour, Glamour to me!
Bright, Shimmered and bold Jewel tones were all over the Catwalk, application was kept relatively simple but defined, with Indigo eyewashes with very little shading extending past the eye socket at Jason Wu.

| Indigo eyes at Jason Wu Indigo featured again at Thakoon, with the addition of Gold glitter for an almost distressed, foiled appearance. Get your indigo hit using MAC Deep Secret, Currently avaliable as part of the Hold My Gaze eyeshadow quad or MAC Pressed Pigment in Midnight. A drugstore option would NYX Morroco or L'oreal Colour Infalliable eyeshadows in either All Night Blue or Purple Chrome. |

| Indigo and Gold Glitter eyes at Thakoon A touch or highlight of gold featured heavily, lending a not only jewel but jewlery inspired colour pallette, with burgundy and ruby shades making plenty of appearances, as seen here at Gucci and Givenchy. Makeup Artist Pat Mcgraph said that burgundies and reds were chosen to compliment the rich autumn pallette. Again, application was kept simple, with plenty of attention to the lower lashline for a smoked out, almost gothic feel. MAC Cranberry is an excellent colour to use here, along with Maybelline colour Tattoo in pomegrante punk or sunset from Stila. |
